Turn a negative into a positive- you really can achieve anything!
Never give up on your dreams because making them happen helps others too.

is a personal, athletic project of Sarah Stanley to celebrate her birthday. And raise awareness on childhood obesity. She will be cycling from Washington, DC to NYC, with additional stops at Annapolis, MD, Baltimore, MD and Philadelphia, PA. School visits will be a major part of the project- inspiring kids to live a healthy, active and happy life. Partnering with ING Run For Something Better, Sarah will raise awareness and funds for the program.
Where's Sarah

is a feat of endurance that will attempt to run or bike 50 miles (or a combination of the two) in all 50 states. Each run/ride will start and end at a local school, encouraging local community’s to get excited about healthy living & a healthy lifestyle. The run & ride will raise additional funds for a nonprofit organization. This project is proposed to start in early 2011.
About Sarah

Did you know that 1 in 3 kids are obese? And 2/3 of America is obese? Obesity rates have trippled in the last 30 years. This is due to many reasons, like 80% of kids don’t eat fruits & vegetables, spend 6 hours on computer, TV and other tech gadgets. All of these facts add up to the sad fact that our children will live shorter lives then their parents.
